Create delivery

You are now ready to make your first shipment. Let's look at the different methods we can use to send orders for delivery.

Create Delivery from Order Details

On the order page, you can send an order for transport by clicking the _Send_ button.

It will then use your settings from your setup here:

In this case, this order will be sent with Postnord - MyPack Collect.

We also have the option to _override delivery._ You can use this if you need to change or set specific delivery settings for this order. _Return_ explains itself.

Create Delivery from Order List

From the order list, you can deliver orders with a click. The buttons for delivery are found under actions:

If you do not see this, you can easily activate it by clicking on view settings:

and activating actions.

To deliver an order, click on the _send_ button marked with a paper plane.

You should then get a confirmation, and the button will turn gray.

If you want to override the order, you can click on the paintbrush.

Create Overridden Delivery

A window will pop up showing you the order's values. Here we see, for example, that Postnord MyPack Collect appears, along with services and printer.

You can then change these values and click create delivery.

Create Bulk Delivery

If you want to send many orders simultaneously, you can bulk create print from batch actions.

Create Delivery with Pick List

You can also send orders for delivery via pick lists. This must be turned on in the settings:

You will then get another button on the order list and in order details where you can send the order to print on the pick list.

The pick list then has a QR code that can be scanned to complete the order.

You can read more about this setup here:

Create Delivery When Order is Completed

Another option is for delivery to be created automatically when the order is completed.

It is important that the shipping methods your customers have chosen are related to delivery products so that the integration knows if an order should be sent with Postnord or Bring, for example.

Note

After the delivery is completed, a note will be created on the order.

If there has been an error, it will also in most cases be logged in the order notes. For more logging, you can read this.

Tracking

If the setting Include tracking link in email when completing order is enabled, this will be included in the order completion email to the customer.

Here we use the free plugin WP Mail Catcher to check the email that is sent.
